The Halifax Executives Association meets 12:15pm - 1:30pm for lunch each Thursday at the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, 376 Purcell's Cove Road, Halifax.

Our luncheon meetings usually include a presentation by a Guest Speaker on a subject relevant to the interests of the members. [included in the membership fee] If you wish to suggest a Guest Speaker, please contact the HXA Program Coordinator.
Luncheons are by invitation only: potential members must be sponsored by a current member, and will be invited to attend a luncheon before applying. Lunches for guests other than guest speakers are $20 + HST.

During the summer months of July and August, HXA meets every second Thursday. 
Check the calendar below for exceptions, since we usually forego our weekly luncheon meeting when another HXA event is scheduled during that week.

Guest Speakers

The Halifax Executives Association prides itself in having interesting and informative Guest Speakers at its regular Thursday luncheons. If you wish to suggest a Guest Speaker, please contact the HXA Program Coordinator to arrange a date and topic. Guest speakers are listed on the Calendar above.

Special Events

The Halifax Executives Association holds numerous special events during the year, most of which are included in the membership fee, and include a member's spouse or associate. For dates and times, check the calendar above.
All events are by invitation only: contact a current member if you would like to attend a lunch or special event.

• Valentine's Dinner & Dance: a formal event to start the year. Usually held at a downtown hotel with a live band. No charge to member and spouse/associate. [included in the membership fee]
• Winery Tour: enjoy wine-tasting at a Valley winery, followed by dinner.
• Summer Barbeque: an informal steak BBQ following a very brief AGM, usually held on the patio of Saraguay House (next door to the RNSYS). No charge to member and spouse/associate. [included in the membership fee]
• HXA Golf Tourney: at one of the region's top courses, with a barbeque and prizes to follow.
• Lobster Supper: a very informal event, with lively entertainment, usually held in mid-September. Steak option. No charge to member and spouse/associate. [included in the membership fee]
• Brewery Tour: once a year we go off-site for our regular weekly meeting -- to the wonderful Garrison Brewery. Complimentary beer and pizza. [included in the membership fee] 
• Open House: potential new members are invited by to come check us out. [included in the membership fee]
• Christmas Dinner & Dance: a formal event to end the year. Usually held at a downtown hotel with a live band. No charge to member and spouse/associate. [included in the membership fee] Many members and spouses stay over and then meet for breakfast the following morning.
